Purple Hoodie

She had a house never a home,
A family yet she's so alone,
She hates to listen to their screams,
It's all she breathes it's all she dreams,

She often said she had enough,
She wanted nothing more than love,
She packed a bag popped out the screen,
Climbed down the drain she's just fifteen,

She needs to be needed,

The walls around her heart finally cracked,
A church with bags for those in need,
Out came a gorgeous purple hoodie,
Handed to her without a second glance,
Nothing but Jesus loves you on their lips,

She's finally needed,
She no longer dreams of a day when,
