So I was thinking about "things I've done", in comparison to my normal, "things I haven't done yet, and I'm 21." I've already made a large purchase/investment with my own money, had my art in an Art Show, taught art, had a personal bank account. I have my passport, I've been to three countries outside the US, I flew across the country alone, and to the other side of the world with three-day-new friends. I was almost arrested in Amsterdam, and spent two weeks in Siberia. I wrote 48,000 words in 30 days, and it would've been 50k if I hadn't been barfing my guts out. And about that, I hadn't thrown up since elementary school and it was my worst fear, and I faced it. I flew out spend a week with friends and road-tripped home with them. Can I just say, "I don't have my driver's license yet, but don't make me feel like I haven't done anything with myself in the past two years,"?

Christian Spec Group
Hey! I just created my own group for Christian Speculative creators to promote the best Christian Speculative fiction through reviews, art, excerpts, fanart, and fanfiction and hopefully cultivate fanbases for this content. If you make or enjoy reading Christian Speculative fiction, I invite you to join at https://www.deviantart.com/christianspecworks and start sharing your work or finding others you can love. The first book I'll be reviewing is The City of Snow and Stars by S. D. Howard, a dark, Christian fantasy dealing with abuse, trafficking, and the difficult road to healing. Spoiler, it was spectacular and I'm upset I have to wait for book 2 lol. Anyway, check out the group if you're interested and thanks for stopping by! Hannah
Guess who's back.
Hey guys, I've spontaneously unarchived all of my art because I found someone had stolen and reposted one of my images on another site. But hey, it's as good a day as any to come back and tell you I'm on the road to finishing my first book in a G/t Urban Fantasy series called Where The Honeybee Lies, (series called Milk and Honey).Hoping to get a cleaned manuscript to the editor this September so I won't be posting much if any right now, other than updates and info on that project. The book takes a look at the realities of human (or Bruni) trafficking, cptsd, and the difficult road to healing from such traumas. Although the story begins in gritty tones and follows dark, disturbing themes, most of it is set in a cozy, London group home for rescued Bruni, with a cast of fun, heartwarming characters, and hints at a grander, magical world behind the scenes. I really wanted to combat some of the many toxic YA Fae Romances I've seen in popular reading circles recently with a story that's
MOVING
Hi all, I'm making some changes to my social media presence in regards to artwork AND my writing! Due to some well needed organization and hard decisions, I am moving everything on this account into storage!
I've left the stories up temporarily (because I recently discovered one of my favorite stories had been archived by an artist and I was SO sad and I can't do that to you guys without warning) but they will be going into storage soon!
I might make a final post with more detail about what I'm doing but for now if you want to make sure you can find my work, I'm on insta @ hbpenart and @ author_hannah_christine
